How to start making gold on WOW?

The truth is – You Don’t Need Gold To Make Gold On WOW!

All you need is time and the knowledge of what to sell and how to sell it. Yes having gold to start with will make it easier, buy low and sell high is a very effective way of making gold on WOW, but this should not limit you from starting to make it on your own.

If you are high level enough, and most of the things I have talked about in this post series are a level 40 or lower items, you can just go out and get them yourself. Yes it will take more time, but you also going to keep all the gold of the sale. Go over the older post one more time and see what you can gain access to, you will be surprised that you have bump into them in the past. Also remember that all you need to start making the big players gold is like 20 gold, and that is probably something everyone can achieved.

But what if you are just beginning to play WOW, or you want to start a new server?

How to make gold in WOW at very low level?

All still apply, remmber – you can sell it all on WOW, your garbage is someone else treasure. I sold many gray junk items that just “look nice”. Also you can sell the low level “mats” to a more established player. I buy my way to the high level of any profession after I make gold, and I sell the same mats when I only starting a new server.

So what are the low level mats?

All the mats, for all professions are good but meat and flesh (and many times even cloth) are the best way to start making gold on WOW.

I have start a new server, get to level 16 (just because I was farming for some meat), sell it at the auction house, buy and sell a few times, and make over 500 gold and some inventory (at the auction house) in three days (real life time, in WOW time it was a few hours). Here is what I did:

Day 1 (25 of July 2009, the weekend) –

Farming for some meat, putting it all in the auction house. I can tell you that some were selling so fast that I have even have some gold to biding on some low price items in the auction house.

Day 2 (2 of August, the Sunday after that) –

Getting all the gold from the mailbox. You can see that selling the right “mats” can be very profitable. The price of 1 gold and 66 silver is per 1 Clam Meat!

You can get it at the low level of 10 (12-14 will be easier). You can then use the gold to buy some beter items to sell. If you bid and buyout all the low level and resell at a lower price then the market, you will make quick gold. Then you need to re-invest it all in the WOW auction house. You can do it for like 4 to 5 times, 20 minutes each time so you will get the gold (In the past it was easier because the auction house will send you the gold immediately).

Day 3 (3 of August) –

I have finish putting all my resell items and mats on the auction house, I have more then 500 gold in the bank, and 55 stocks at the auction house.

What impressive about this screen shot (even in my standards) is that for the Peacebloom that you see I only paied 30 silver a stock, some players don’t know what they have, and for how mach they can sell it, which one do you want to be like – me or the one that sold me the Peacebloom?
